A couple of days on a first visit to Schwerin. The Pension is small, but clean and well-run (even a mini-bar!). Rooms possibly a little small, but on a short trip, that didn’t matter. Breakfast is a good German spread with the added option of eggs how you want them. Only about 10 minutes walk to the old town and Schloss, so you can forget the car. Parking can be tight, but there are sidestreets where you can usually find a space. Owner Antje does everything to make it enjoyable.
My lady and I stayed here for a night during our road trip through N. Germany and had an excellent experience. The rooms were smaller, but definitely big enough for two adults (and we had 3 sizable pieces of luggage with us). Breakfast was great (go for it, you won’t do better in town for the quality and the price) and plenty big enough. The host is very sweet and very nice. She helped us with every question we had and took the time to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. 5 Stars for sure!
