Our rooms

A couple of days on a first visit to Schwerin. The Pension is small, but clean and well-run (even a mini-bar!). Rooms possibly a little small, but on a short trip, that didn’t matter. Breakfast is a good German spread with the added option of eggs how you want them. Only about 10 minutes walk to the old town and Schloss, so you can forget the car. Parking can be tight, but there are sidestreets where you can usually find a space. Owner Antje does everything to make it enjoyable.

Very nice hotel, with a most helpful hostess. Clean and tidy, and nice beds. The hotel is located very near the city centre, but in a quiet surronding. Schwerin has so much more see, so we will definetly come back, an Cafe-Pension Karina will be the obvius choice of hotel. We are so satisfied! Highly recomended! In general, very good pension. Pretty clean and quiet, not far from the center. Single rooms are narrow and bathroom is very small. But if you don’t have a huge luggage this could be a very good option to stay. Cafe is very comfortable and food is delicious. So, my vote of “Very Good”! Stayed: June 2013, traveled solo

We stayed one night in the guesthouse and felt very well. The welcome was warm, the beds very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent with fresh, crunchy rolls. If we go back to Schwerin, this is definitely our new overnight stay. The location is great, you can reach the city in a few minutes walk, as well as the castle, theater and the lakes.

I was delighted with my stay with Pension Karina. The room, although small, was clean and well presented. The facilities were all operational and fully met my needs. The hospitality and friendliness of you and your staff was outstanding. My requests for change to the time arrival was accommodated by you and your people without any complaint or indifference to my questions. Breakfast was another outstanding feature of my stay. I would love to return one day and will happily recommend your establishment to anyone seeking advice regarding accommodation in Schwerin.

Due to its location on the courtyard side, it was absolutely quiet despite its central location. It was just the right address for the purpose. A warm welcome, a lovingly furnished and cozy room and a great location close to downtown Schwerin – I can only recommend. I hope that next time I do not have to leave so early and still enjoy the breakfast. See you soon and many thanks

Very nice and warm welcome. Lovingly furnished rooms. Good breakfast in a friendly atmosphere. Here you also get an extra sausage fried (late arrival, earlier breakfast).
